Synthesis of Functionalized Dihydropyrimidothiazinoquinoline Derivatives via Reaction of 3-(Chloromethyl)-2-chloroquinolines and 2-Thioxo-2,3-dihydropyrimidin-4(1H)-one
An efficient method for the synthesis of novel dihydropyrimidothiazinoquinoline derivatives through the reaction of 2-chloro-3-(chloromethyl)quinolines and 2-thioxo-2,3-dihydropyrimidin-4(1H)-one in the presence of K2CO3 is demonstrated.
