A broad range of substrates including the aromatic, heteroaromatic and aliphatic aldehydes were condensed with amines (aliphatic and aromatic) and trimethylsilyl cyanide (TMSCN). Using this method, all reactions were completed in short times and the products were obtained in good to excellent yields.
